The Dead Sea is a lake without an outlet, which is positioned more than 400m below sea level, making it the lowest body of water in the world. Due to this location, the Dead Sea has an increased oxygen content of around 10% and the Dead Sea has an average salt content of around 28%, while the Mediterranean Sea, for example, only has an average salt content of 3.8%.
The mineral composition of the Dead Sea salt also differs greatly from seawater. It contains high levels of magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium chloride and potassium chloride, as well as plenty of trace elements. This makes the Dead Sea the richest source of natural salts in the world.
Its famous healing power is due to the extraordinary combination of

Not all salts are alike
The composition and nature of the salt makes all the difference.
OXYGEN sea salt is extracted from a depth of more than 100m.
As you can see from the graphic below, traditional Dead Sea salt has a high magnesium content. OXYGEN sea salt is additionally enriched and ultimately has an even higher magnesium content, which significantly increases its effectiveness.
A study by the University of Graz tested the effectiveness of our OXYGEN brine and proved that our Dead Sea salt brine also reduces oxidative stress (=imbalance in the metabolism).

Magnesium plays a key role in countless processes in the body and is particularly important for generating the body’s energy.

Our OXYGEN ultrasonic nebuliser
The OXYGEN ultrasonic nebuliser is made especially for us in Germany. It creates a dry, velvety and respirable brine mist, the particle size of which is so tiny that it can penetrate the alveoli, i.e. deep into the lowest part of the respiratory tract. This allows the active ingredients to loosen even stubborn congestion.
Our ultrasonic nebuliser is based on a closed brine circuit – it’s completely hygienic and risk-free for the lungs. This method corresponds precisely to the recommendation of the Society for Pneumology and Respiratory Medicine.
On behalf of OxygenConcept, the Fresenius Institute measured the air in two brine grottos with and without an OXYGEN ultrasonic nebuliser to determine the air’s salt content in each room.
Quote: “The measurement results show that, without the ultrasonic nebuliser, a maximum salt concentration of just 0.01 mg/m³ could be determined in the grotto. In contrast, a significant increase in the salt content of sodium chloride in the air was detected in the room with the SeaClimate (OxygenConcept) ultrasonic nebuliser. This confirms the effectiveness of the ultrasonic nebuliser.

Our OXYGEN oxygen concentrator
Our oxygen concentrator separates the oxygen from the ambient air and brings it into the inhalation space (up to 9 litres/minute), and thus into your body, with a purity of 90-95%.
The oxygen content in normal ambient air is around 21%.
Depending on the size of the cabin or room, the oxygen content is increased to up to 27% using OXYGEN technology. This corresponds to an increased oxygen concentration of around 30 percent!
Our high-performance concentrators, which are also used by NASA in space travel, enrich the breathing air with valuable oxygen molecules. The oxygen is obtained directly from the ambient air.
